TTD plans Balaji temples across country

In a bid to tackle overcrowding at the Tirumala hills as well as the please devotees across the country, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is planning to build Venkateswara temples at various places. After recently opening on information centre at Amaravati, Maharashtra, the TTD is contemplating  building a temple in Mumbai to cater to the needs of devotees from Maharashtra. The temple may came up at Navi Mumbai, when the state govt. has agreed to provide  land free of cost, or on a private chunk of land at Chembur, which has a good number of South Indian devotees.
