Dhoni played 500 international matches

The Indian team’s senior-most player Mahendra Singh Dhoni reached the coveted milestone of playing 500 international matches during the second T20 International against England. In doing so, Dhoni became the third Indian after Sachin Tendulkar (664) and Rahul Dravid (509) to breach the 500 match barrier in international cricket. He has played 90 Test matches and 318 One Day Internationals.

Dhoni to be the brand ambassador of Netmeds

President Kovind gave away Padma awards 2018

President Ram Nath Kovind gave away prestigious Padma awards to 89 winners at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Ilaiyaraja got Padma Vibhushan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is among the nine Padma Bhushan recipients. Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan are the second and third highest civilian awards of the country respectively.

Dhoni to set up cricket academy in Dubai

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced that he’ll be setting up a coaching academy in Dubai Pacific Sports Club in UAE. Dhoni has teamed up with Pacific Sports Club as they launch MS Dhoni Cricket Academy (MSDCA) & their operations in emirate. PSC & MSDCA will be working hand-in-hand to develop & launch training camps that will hopefully become a breeding ground for future professional athletes.

India captain MS Dhoni sets world record in USA

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has set a world record, he captained India in a record 325th game (most by a player in history), across all three formats, to break Australian skipper Ricky Ponting’s mark. Dhoni was leading India in 71st T20. He has already captained the side in 60 Tests and 194 ODIs.
