IAF Chief Dhanoa began 4-day visit to Israel

Chief of Air Staff BS Dhanoa has begun a 4-day visit to Israel with an aim to enhance cooperation between air forces of the two countries. He will attend a conference themed ‘Air superiority as a bridge to regional stability’ which is being organized as part of 70th-anniversary celebrations of Israel Air Force. Air forces of both the countries have been enhancing cooperation over the years.

SB Deo becomes Vice-Chief of Air Staff

Air Marshal S B Deo took over as Vice Chief of Air Staff in place of Air Marshal B S Dhanoa who is now the chief. Air Marshal Deo, who was commissioned as a fighter pilot in the IAF on June 15, 1979 is an alumnus of the NDA and the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He is a FCL and a ‘Cat A’ Qualified Flying Instructor with over 3,800 hours of operational and training flying.
