• BCCI launched 20 grams gold-plated sterling silver toss coin with the images of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela for the India-South Africa cricket series.
• Sania Mirza and Swiss Martina Hingis grasped seventh title by bagging the Wuhan Open women’s doubles trophy by defeating the pair of Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu and Monica Niculescu in Wuhan, China.
